This is the most difficult position in the 7-piece perfect play database. Set it up on your computer, and see if the winning side can actually win from here. Several programs and humans have attempted to win this position against WCC Platinum III, but none has been able to do so. WCC's perfect defense on the losing side has proven to be unassailable, resulting in consistent draws. When playing the winning side, however, WCC's 7-piece perfect play lookup (PPL) database will immediately crush any opposition, with moves that complete the win as efficiently as possible. It does this instantly, with no searching.

There are more than 19 billion positions in the 7-piece PPL database, and only about 9% are draws. This means that there are more than 17 billion perfect moves stored in this database, waiting to be discovered. WCC has already corrected the traditional winning play for Fourth Position.
